Studio
A creative practice building cultural infrastructure through strategy, design, consulting, and story.
Himmat Media partners with organisations, founders, and institutions building meaningful work in their communities.
We believe the strongest organisations already carry the answers they're searching for. Our role is to uncover them, articulate them clearly, and build the structures that allow them to grow with integrity.
What We Believe
We believe organisations grow strongest when they remember what made them matter in the first place.
Identity isn't something to invent. It's something to uncover and steward with care. Story helps people remember while strategy creates direction. Design makes both visible. Together, they create the conditions for meaningful work to grow with clarity, trust, and longevity.
Our Method
Every project begins with listening. From there, our CASE Framework guides how we work, helping organisations move from clarity to action through strategy, storytelling, design, and long-term growth.

Meet Jagreet
Himmat Media was founded by Jagreet Dhadli, a strategist, storyteller, and creative director working across branding, communications, fundraising, festivals, healthcare, education, and cultural initiatives in Canada and the United Kingdom.
Rather than approaching organisations from the outside, Jagreet's practice has always begun from within. Years spent working alongside community organisations, arts festivals, healthcare initiatives, museums, educational programs, and grassroots movements shaped an approach rooted in participation before prescription.
The studio itself grew from HIMMAT: Celebrating the Women Around Us, a community storytelling exhibit co-produced in Vancouver in 2019. What began as an act of remembrance evolved into a broader creative practice dedicated to helping organisations preserve identity while building confidently toward the future.
Today, that practice continues through Himmat Media.

To Those Who Continue to Guide Us
Himmat is shaped not only by those we work alongside today, but also by those whose generosity continues to guide us long after they're gone.
We honour the late and deeply loved Dr. Rahuldeep Singh Gill, PhD, whose scholarship, friendship, humour, and unwavering commitment to justice continue to shape both this practice and the people behind it. Deep dedicated his life to building connected communities through courage, generosity, compassion, and intellectual curiosity. His influence lives on in the questions we continue asking, the work we choose to do, and the care we strive to offer one another.
His passing is also a quiet reminder that we rarely know the full weight another person may be carrying. If there's one part of his legacy we hope continues to grow, it's a culture where we check in on one another more often, speak openly about mental health, and remind the people we love that they don't have to carry everything alone.
Until we meet again and deeply belly laugh together, Dakku. We love you. 🤍
Land, Sovereignty & Solidarity
Himmat Media is based in Leicester, United Kingdom, with roots that also extend across the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō, Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
We believe creative work carries responsibility. We are committed to supporting Indigenous sovereignty, building relationships rooted in reciprocity, and using our practice in service of justice, cultural continuity, and collective liberation.
